Privacy policy

In short

  • What you type into a calculator stays in your browser. We never receive it.
  • No accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising trackers.
  • We don’t sell or share personal information.
  • If you email us, we use your message only to reply.

This policy explains what information FastCalcs.app (“FastCalcs”, “we”, “us”) handles, why, and the rights you have. It applies to visitors everywhere. For the technical side, see data and security.

1. What you type into the calculators

Every calculation runs entirely in your web browser, on your own device. The numbers you enter, such as your income, weight or room size, are never sent to us or to anyone else, and we never store them.

Your numbers are kept out of the page address. If you choose Copy link to this result, the link includes your numbers after a “#” sign, a part of a link that browsers never send to any server. Anyone you send the link to can see the numbers in it, so only share it with people you trust.

2. Information we don’t collect

FastCalcs has no accounts, sign-ups, forms or comment sections. We don’t use cookies, analytics tools, advertising trackers, social media plugins or fingerprinting. Our fonts and code are served from our own domain, so loading a page doesn’t send your details to font or script providers.

3. Technical information our host processes

Like every website, FastCalcs is delivered by a hosting provider, Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, it automatically processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is standard for any website. We don’t combine it with other data or use it to identify you. Cloudflare handles it under its own privacy policy and data processing terms.

4. If you email us

If you write to hello@fastcalcs.app, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message. We use it only to read and answer you, and to fix any problem you report. We delete messages within 24 months unless we need them longer to resolve an issue or meet a legal obligation. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your question.

5. Selling and sharing

We don’t sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or use it to make automated decisions about you.

6. Advertising and analytics in the future

To keep FastCalcs free, we may add advertising or privacy-friendly analytics later. Before we do, we will update this policy to explain exactly what is collected and by whom. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent first, give you a clear way to say no, and respect browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control.

7. Children

FastCalcs is a general-audience site and isn’t directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If a child has emailed us and a parent wants the message deleted, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws give you rights over your personal information. These include the GDPR in the European Economic Area, the UK GDPR, US state privacy laws such as California’s CCPA, Canada’s PIPEDA, Brazil’s LGPD and Australia’s Privacy Act. They can include the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct it or have it deleted;
  • object to or restrict how we use it;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we don’t do either);
  • complain to your local data protection authority.

Because the calculators don’t send us your data, the only personal information we could hold is an email you sent us. To use any of these rights, email hello@fastcalcs.app. We will reply within 30 days and won’t treat you differently for asking.

9. International visitors

FastCalcs is used around the world, and our host runs servers in many countries. Technical information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where the law requires it, this is covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects what we collect, we will make it clear on the site before it takes effect.
